I attended West End High School in Walnut Grove, Alabama, where I graduated with honors in 2011. I worked as a tutor for the Alabama Graduation Exam during my senior year, where I gained my first teaching experience. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with my Bachelor's Degree in December 2017. I have a love of studying history that began when I was very young. My grandfather was a World War 2 veteran, and his stories inspired me to first study about what he had been through, which later blossomed into an interest in other periods of history. In my spare time, I enjoying reading, particularly historical novels. I occasionally play guitar and enjoying cooking when I have the time.
